Strain relief project
Identify potential enhancements to the G7 wearable’s adhesion system to ensure reliable performance for a full 15-day wear period.
Engagement: Enhance the wearable's adhesion and fit to ensure consistent, secure skin contact throughout the wear period, minimizing lifting, shifting, or premature detachment.
Deflection: Refine the wearable’s elevation profile to enhance its ability to deflect incoming objects, reducing impact force and minimizing the risk of snagging or displacement.
Flex: Incorporate design modifications that enable the wearable to flex and adapt to external forces, enhancing comfort and ensuring better conformance to the skin during movement.
Dispersion: Currently, the wearable is attached to the 4077 solely at the heat-staked areas. By expanding the attachment surface between the wearable and the 4077, we can enhance the overall security and stability of the wearable on the user, reducing the risk of detachment.
